Heart rate variability (HRV) is the physiological phenomenon that refers to the variation in the time interval between heartbeats. It is assessed by measuring the fluctuations in the beat-to-beat interval.

This application aims to analyze HRV SDNN values that have been recorded by the Apple Watch, providing users with a tool for better understanding their physiological data.

HRV serves as an indicator of an organism's ability to modulate heart rhythm frequency. In healthy individuals, the heart rhythm can dynamically adjust to meet current demands, resulting in a fluctuating number of heartbeats per minute which signifies the body's adaptability.

A study conducted by researchers at the University of Zaragoza in Spain has demonstrated that the HRV values captured by the Apple Watch, particularly during sessions with the Breath app, exhibit a high level of accuracy akin to that of professional chest straps.

This app allows users to filter and review their HRV data, focusing specifically on values obtained during sessions with specific parameters such as those recorded during a Breath app session.

Utilizing Healthkit, the Apple Watch measures your HRV data and stores it within the Health app ecosystem. This application seamlessly integrates with Apple's Health app, enabling users to conveniently access and track their recorded data on various platforms including their Apple Watch, complication screens, and iPhone.

How to Use:

<li>PLEASE NOTE: This application is only compatible with Apple Watch Series 3 or later models.</li>
<li>To record new HRV measurements, it is recommended to utilize the Breath app feature offered by Apple.</li>
<li>To maximize the utility of your data, ensure that all measurements are consistently taken in identical circumstances. For instance, consider measuring "first thing in the morning" before starting your day.</li>
